Through the Fire

Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you  Isaiah 43:1-3 NLT

I'm walking through some strong rivers and hot flames this morning.  Circumstances seem impossible and I am afraid.

But God. . .

A friend recently reminded me of those two words.  They used to be my favorite words and I would cling to them; I'm clinging again.

I am weak, but God is STRONG!

The problem are big, but God is BIGGER!

I can't, but God CAN!

Please pray . . .

  1. Hi Lisa - amen, God can and we can trust that He will.
    God bless and praying

  2. Oh Lisa, you've had my prayers for the last week or so. I do not know the circumstances that you are walking through, but I know that He is with you. He has gone before you, and He goes behind you. He is your front and rear guard. He hedges you in on every side. No harm shall come to you. He said, "do not fear, for I am with you." Praying my friend.

  3. But God...some of the most hope-filled words in Scripture. My prayers are with you too, Lisa.
