A Gathering of Two

"For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst."
Matthew 18:20 NASB

I'm going through some really difficult things right now.  I've been trying so desperately to handle this all on my own, in my own strength, but I've reached my breaking point.  I can't do this anymore; I can't go strength is gone.

I fell apart this morning

Then something happened.  One by one sisters in Christ started reaching out to me.  Standing by me, agreeing to support me in prayer.  I am not physically close to any of these women; distance separates us all.  But they are gathering with me, wherever they are, to lift me up in prayer.

God never intended for us to walk alone.

A gathering of two is a beautiful thing.

Many blessings,

  1. Hi Lisa - such a great truth here. I too reached out for help this year unable to continue standing on my own and the Lord undertook by providing sisters in Christ who just overwhelm you with love and prayer and support. God bless, praying for and with you.

  2. You are never alone my friend.

  3. Hi Lisa, We were never meant to handle anything on our own. Holding you up and praying for you friend.

  4. Adding my prayers. In return for how your words have blessed my life.

  5. Oh Lisa, I am so sorry you are struggling. But you are right, we are meant to walk through difficult seasons alone. I will be praying for you. Do not hesitate to contact me via email if you ever need an "ear". Blessings abundantly!

  6. I don't know what you're going through, but I will be praying for you. 6 years ago, I needed friends, and God brought them to me. They are such gifts!
    God bless you!

  7. Oh Lisa, these times.....I'm so sorry. There is nothing like a friend who goes before the Lord in prayer on your behalf. I will be there with you in prayer. Thank you Jesus for this friend, be with her in her struggle, be so close to her that she feels your presence with her so that she may be comforted. Thank you Jesus for loving Lisa the way that you do.

    I will continue to pray.

    Love to you, Marlece

  8. Praying for you, dear Sister....not sure what you have going on right now, but He knows and that's what's important. Praying His peace over your life. Praying you feel His presence.
