But Noah...

The Lord saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the timeThe Lord was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain. So the Lord said, “I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth—men and animals, and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of the air—for I am grieved that I have made them.”  Genesis 6:5-7

God created the heavens and the earth.  He created Adam and Eve and placed them in the garden to live in fellowship with Him.  But then sin entered the world and everything changed.

In the days of Noah the world was a different place; "every inclination of the thoughts of man was only evil all the time." (Gen. 6:5) God saw this and it broke His heart, so He said he would wipe mankind from the face of the earth.

But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.

Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time and he walked with God. (Gen. 6:9)   Think about that.... in a world full of evil, Noah stood out. He walked with God, and he obeyed God.

Fast forward to today.
As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.  Matthew 24:37-39

Will you be the one who stands out in this generation?

Many blessings,
