Mutually Encouraged

When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith,
but I also want to be encouraged by yours.  Romans 1:12 NLT

Paul was anxious to visit the Roman church because he had much he wanted to teach them; he wanted to encourage them in their faith.  But notice what this verse says - Paul, the mighty man of God, also wanted to be encouraged by spending time with them.

Isn't this how it should be every time Christians get together?

The Scriptures tell us to encourage one another.  We are to carry each others burdens, pray for one another, and build each other up in the faith.

We need each other for mutual encouragement.

Who can you encourage today?

Many blessings,
