Shine Like Stars

So all of us who have had that veil removed
can see and reflect the glory of the Lord.
And the Lord--who is the Spirit--makes us more and more like him
as we are changed into his glorious image.  2 Corinthians 3:18

I woke up this morning with these words running through my head -
Shine like stars in the universe.

Oh Father, am I shining for you?

Do I reflect Your Glory?

Am I becoming more and more like You?

I know the veil was removed when Jesus died, but have I put up another veil, one of my own making?

What good is salt if it loses its flavor?  (Matthew 5:13)

What good is light if it is hidden?  (Luke 11:33)

How can I shine for  God if I'm not filled with God?"

Father, give us strength to remain in Your Presence today so we can shine for You.

  10. Hi Lisa,
Isn’t God awesome? :) With the gift of each new day we are invited to rise and shine. And through His love and grace we are given the ability to do just that; breath to fill our lungs and strength to shine! :)

    Blessings and hugs,
    Denise
