What If?

What if  we lived like we actually believed that God is in control?
How would our lives be different
Would there be less stress and better health?

What if  we surrendered completely to His will?
Would we really begin to seek Him FIRST
Not thinking of what we want, but what God wants?

What if  we were a follower and not just a fan?
Would we take Jesus seriously when He said
"If any of you wants to be my follower,
you must turn from your selfish ways,
take up your cross, and follow me.

What if  we really believed there was a hell?
How would we begin to respond
to unsaved family and friends
Would we be telling everyone
we met about Jesus?

What if  we understood that this world is not our home?
Would we spend less time trying to be
comfortable here and more time storing
up treasures in Heaven?

What if  we believed that people were actually reading what we write and listening to what we say?
Would we put more prayer behind our
words and speak less?

What if  we fully obeyed God's commands?
Would we stop holding grudges and start bearing burdens
Would we seek justice, love mercy, and
walk humbly with our God?

What if  we loved God's Word as much as we love our words?
Would we spend more time reading the Bible
and less time talking
Would our words then be seasoned with grace?

What if  we believed in the power of prayer?
What if  we realized that we are in a spiritual battle?
What if  we remembered that our battle is not against flesh and blood?
What if  we understood that the One in us is far greater than anything that comes against us?

What if . . .

Many blessings,
