Three hundred and sixty-eight days ago my world was much smaller. The only friends I had were people whose faces I had actually seen. I had never written anything that someone else would read and I didn't even know the blogging world existed.
But 368 days ago my sweet friend, Jenifer, started ~Sweet Blessings~, and introduced me to the wonderful world of blogging. She's running an awesome giveaway in honor of her one year anniversary. Hop over to congratulate her and enter the drawing by clicking HERE. When I saw Jenifer's blog I realized that blogging was the perfect opportunity to share the devotions that I felt God was giving me through His Word. So one day after ~Sweet Blessings~ made it's first appearance, A Moment with God was born.
I can't believe it's been a year. I didn't know how long this blog would last - I've been known to start and then stop more than a few projects. But God is faithful and I just keep writing what He lays on my heart. In the past 368 days I have met some wonderful people who truly inspire, entertain, encourage, and challenge me. In honor of my one year blogiversary, I want to dedicate this post to some of my new friends.
Eileen, from The Scenic Route. I love Eileen's heart; she challenges me with messages like More seeking and less striving. And I think she just may be as weird as I am. (smiles)
Kandi, from Get Out of the Boat. I feel like I know Kandi and I honestly look forward to reading her posts. Her honesty and transparency inspire me.
Phil, from Inspirations from Phather Phil. Phil writes daily emails to God about what God is teaching him. I love sharing in his journey with the Lord.
Kelli & Heidi, from Mothers on Mission. These two women share God's heart through their beautiful words. I love reading their hearts.
Greg, from Greg's Watering Hole. Greg uses analogies to share truths from God's Word. I love how he can take a life experience and use it to teach a God lesson.
Allison, from Beautiful in Him. Allison inspires me to go and do. We are to be God's hands and feet and Allison puts that into practice.
This list does not reflect every blog on my favorites list, that post would be much too long. These are just some of the first people I met in the blogging world. I'm blessed that they are now part of my little world and I just want to say, Thank You!
