Multitudes on Monday

For each new morning with its light,
For rest and shelter of the night,
For health and food, for love and friends,
For everything Thy goodness sends.
~Ralph Waldo Emerson

How can it be Monday already?  The weekends just go by so quickly.  I want to begin this week by counting my blessings.  I didn't post last Monday because it was a holiday.  Maybe that's why my whole week was "off"?

57.  Sleeping late on a Monday morning
58.  Good fellowship at the church picnic,
even though it was HOT.
59.  Air conditioning - did I mention it is hot?
60.  Celebrating my husband's birthday with family
61.  Nice dinner out with my parents
62.  Trip to the Christian book store
63.  Books to read for summer spiritual growth
64.  Friends release from the hospital
in time to celebrate her 50th birthday
65.  My sister and her son who took my son to the water park
66.  Seeing people passionate about their ministries
67.  Chocolate raspberry flavored coffee
68.  Wendy's new Berry Almond Chicken Salad
69.  Raspberry sweet tea
70.  A God who doesn't give up, even when I do.  A God who never fails, even though I do.  Amazing Love that never runs out, even when I run away.
What's on your list today?

Counting my blessings by participating in Multitudes on Monday at A Holy Experience.

  1. I'm with you Lisa, Mondays have a way of rolling around way too quick. The thing I'm most grateful for is my sister life. We had a scare with her over the weekend but thanks be unto God!

  2. I'm picking up a heart sister from the airport today for a 2 day visit. And I hope to get home without "losing my way." That will be on my list tomorrow. ha!

A trip to the Christian store is ALWAYS a praise!

  3. #70, yes... thank you Jesus for your faithful love and presence in my life!

  4. Love raspberry sweet tea and book stores and seeing people passionate about their ministry! :)

  5. I'm with you on the Wendy's salad and raspberry tea and bookstores (Lifeway) and most surely on #70!
    (visiting from 1000 gifts)

  6. Monday really did seem to come quickly this week, didn't it...

I love your list this week Lisa. I'm particularly fond of #57 (which I'll admit to a slight envy of), #66, and #70. :-)

    Have a Blessed Day!

  7. My husband loves that salad too. I will need to try it!

  8. #70 is so true...thankful to serve a God that IS that big. Thanks for sharing your list...I'm visiting from Ann's.

  9. Beautiful list...loved the raspberry tea and bookstores...have a beautiful day

  10. This week I am thankful for:

    1) A daughter who is getting ready to get her braces off.
    2) The insurance and finances to get those braces.
    3) For getting to watch my boys play baseball tonight.
    4) For welcoming a new nephew into this world five days ago.
    5) For a new small group starting this week.
    6) For my nephew (not the new one) getting the bead out of his ear and having no damage to his hearing.
    7) For getting to have a fun day at the farm with my kids and friends.
    8) For the smell of freshly cut grass.
