Time to Reflect

Yesterday was my 200th post on A Moment with God.

I stared blogging in August of 2010 as a way to share the things that God has been teaching me through His Word.  This blog is like my personal journal.  I write about the things God reveals as I study the Bible and also the things He lays on my heart.  I can go back and read old posts and see my journey with God; the areas where I have grown and other places that still need work.

200 hundred posts.  That means that I can look back and see that God has spoken to me at least 200 times over the past 9 months.  I don't know about you, but it's hard for me to remember if I don't write it down.  I can forget all the answered prayers, all the times I cried out and He answered.  It's easy to forget where I was spiritually nine months ago.  But with this blog, I can look back and remember.  Remember all the times God spoke directly to my heart.  And if He is speaking to me, it must mean that He loves me.  God accepts me just as I am, but loves me too much to leave me there.  What a journey we have been on!

This song speaks what I have learned over the past months.  I know that God is for me!

  4. Happy 200 dear friend! I agree with you, it's so wonderful to look back and see how He speaks to me through writing. I just told Kelli the other day that the things that are written are almost always the things He's working on in me and they are like ongoing projects... progressing (sometimes digressing), but they are all still relevant and active in my life. I don't think I'd be so aware of what He is doing in me without the writing. Thank you for never ceasing to encourage me with your writing :) Blessings!

  9. Happy 200th as well. And I have to agree with you and Allison, about remembering and writing it down. Have either of you had to write a table of contents or Key so you remember where everything is at?. Yea sounded silly, but most don't do that. ( I'm unfortunately until today.)
