I'm Thinking About You

Blogging has opened up a whole new world to me.  I have "met" people that I never would have encountered outside this online world.  And several of you have become dear friends to me.  I love spending time throughout the day reading your thoughts and words of encouragement.  I have also come across people that are going through some really difficult times.  I want to let you all know that I am thinking about you, and I want to pray for you - all of you

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you.  
Ephesians 1:17

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being.  Ephesians 3:16

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight.  Philippians 1:9

With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith.
  2 Thessalonians 1:11

I want to pray for your needs.  I believe in the power of prayer and when I have a need, I want as many people praying for me as possible.  I also know that praying for others changes me.  It's hard to be wrapped up in self when you begin to intercede for the needs of others.  For this reason, I have added a page on my blog for you to submit your prayer requests.  I promise to pray for each need that is presented.  You may also connect with me on Facebook by clicking the link at the right.

Memorizing James
If you are taking part in the challenge to memorize the entire book of James this year, you will need to memorize two verses each week. This week's verses are:
James 1:23-24
23.  Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror
24.  and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.

  3. Wow girl! How awesome you set up a place to write prayers! You are so right. When we pray for others it takes the focus off us and puts the focus on the power of prayer! I didn't realize just how powerful prayer was until I stopped talking and actually started listening!:) Love your verses of encouragement today for those tough times.

    I too am enjoying bloging. While I do not blog every day, it is awesome meeting brothers and sisters around the world, encouraging one another and sharing our thoughts and prayers.
